On behalf of Gislaved municipality, SWECSA performed a stormwater and cloudburst investigation for the Gislaved 1:27 zoning plan, the purpose of which was to enable the exploitation of a new swimming pool. The investigation included mapping of catchment areas, recipient impact, stormwater flows, flow simulations, proposed measures and consequences of proposed measures.
The study calculated design stormwater flows before and after development to identify the need for retention. In addition, the web-based tool ScalGo Live was used to locate local accumulation points and runoff routes for stormwater.
